As promised, here are the swatches of the L'oreal Shine Stains on my lips. Just a couple of things to note, Lilac Ever After is browner than Pink Resistance on the lips but there is a peach undertone to both. Rose On and On is a neutral pink, while Pink Rebellion is slightly brighter and warmer. Coral Tattoo is a clear bright orange shade, its almost neon in certain angles. Endless Red pulls deeper on my lips than how it looks on the tube. Infinite Fuchsia and Berry Persistence are similar if only one layer is applied. Add another however, and Infinite Fuchsia becomes decidedly brighter in comparison. I had to settle for a stained swatch of Berry Persistence since my lips were starting to hurt from repeatedly re-applying it. The rest were 2 coats and all were applied using the wand. I found using a lip brush difficult with this formula.

Deleteawesome swatches. I just got the Lilac Ever After today but haven't tried it yet. They look like they have amazing staying power. I swatched on my hand and it won't rub off.

ReplyDeleteSome are definitely close, my lips are pigmented so the lighter shades tend to look similar. Ymmv ofc.
DeleteI notice mine are too, that is why I dont bother to buy that kind of shades, im more for solid opaque matte lipstick
DeleteThank you for swatches! However, I agree that your lips are pretty pigmented, which is why the difference between the shades might not be as obvious on you. These are sheer but definitely buildable. I own 4 and they are soo unique and lovely! My favorite new release by L'Oreal.
