Becca Beach Tint Duo in Watermelon & Fig

My renewed interest in the Beach Tints from Becca was prompted by their release of three new shades recently. From swatches I've seen online, I was really interested in Dragonfruit (Poppy Pink) and Papaya (Hot Red) but my previous experience with these were not very positive. However, on a recent trip to Sephora, I stumbled upon this limited edition Beach Tint Duo ($20) and I was sold. The minis are 4ml each and are in the shades Watermelon (Bright Pink) and Fig (Tea Rose).

I'm not sure if I just got an old batch the last time or they have reformulated these but the formula is much better than I remember. Both shades have a paste-like consistency and blend very easily. A far cry from the runny, oily mess (I did try rolling my old tube around to warm it up as suggested but nothing happened) that I thought was standard. On my dry skin, these last pretty much all day with minimal transfer and fading. Although marketed for cheeks and lips, I have not fully tested it on the latter.

I'm wearing one light layer of Watermelon BT on the cheeks here. As for the rest of my face:

-RBR Milk Aqaurelle mixed with Sunday Riley Primer in Medium
-Burberry Sheer Concealer
-ByTerry Hydra Powder (under the eyes and around the nose area)
-Shu Prestigious Bordeaux palette
-Maybelline liquid liner & Colossal Cat Eyes WP mascara
-KATE brow gel
-GA Lip Maestro in 201

I think this duo would be a nice stocking stuffer too dontcha think? I'm very excited to try the newer shades now!

Thanks for stopping by :)

  1. Watermelon looks lovely on you, especially paired with that lip colour. This duo seems like a great way to try these Becca beach tints! :)

  2. I have trouble deciding which one to go for of Guerlain L'extrait or Armani Lip Maestro, which one do you think is the highest quality at the best of the two? Not considering price but quality?

    1. Hi Anon,

I think both are excellent quality and it will most likely come down to personal preference since they are rather similar. I prefer the Armani bec I find it easier to apply and love cones.

I hope that helps somewhat :)
